Crochet Summer Top Using Schachenmayr Yarn

You’ll Need:

4 (4, 5, 6) skeins of Schachenmayr Summer Shine yarn (85% cotton, 6% viscose, 3% polyester; 145m/50g) in blue color (00155);

1 skein of the same yarn, but in white color (00110);

4 (4, 5, 6) skeins of Schachenmayr Catania Glamour yarn (98% cotton, 2% polyester; 142m/50g) in blue color (00155);

1 skein of the same yarn, but in cream color;

Crochet hook 3.5.

Size:

XS (S, M, L).

Used Patterns:

Double Crochet with Base St:

4 chain sts, insert the crochet hook in the 1^st chain st (= 3 sts on the crochet hook), draw 1 st through the 1^st st on the crochet hook (= 3 sts on the crochet hook) and crochet this st at first, then, make the next 2 sts and crochet both last sts = 1^st double crochet with base st. * 1 yarn over, insert the crochet hook in both lower scales of double crochets, draw 1 st and at first make this st, then crochet the next 2 sts and make the last 2 sts = 2^nd double crochet with base st*; repeat from * to *.

Double Crochets:

Start every row with 3 chain sts increase (instead of the 1^st double crochet) and make 1 double crochet in every st.

Single Crochets:

Start every row with 1 chain st, make the 1^st single crochet in the last st of the previous row, then, make 1 single crochet in every st.

Treble Crochets:

Start every row with 5 chain sts increase (instead of the 1^st treble crochet) and make 1 treble crochet in every st.

Stitches Control:

Double crochets: 17 sts x 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

1 row of single crochets and 1 row of treble crochets: 17 sts x 2 rows = 10 x 3 cm.

Instructions:

Back:

Make 73 (80, 87, 94) double crochets with base st (= 1^st row). Then, work with double crochets for 30 rows. After this 31^st row = 35 cm of white/cream yarn, make 1 WS row of single crochets. Then, * 1 row of treble crochets with blue yarn, 1 row of single crochets with white/cream yarn*; repeat from * to * x 5 (6, 7, 8) times. Finish your work. Total length is 53 (56, 59, 62) cm.

Front:

Make in the same way as back.

Assembly:

Make shoulder and side seams from * to the pattern design. Fasten armholes with 2 circles of double crochets with white/cream.
