Stitches Control
Main pattern: 16 stitches x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Spider web pattern: 25.5 stitches x 11.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Edging: 30.5 cm wide x 21 rows = 10 cm.
Instructions
Front
Make 94 (106) 118 chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase, continuing with the “spider web” pattern = 125 (141) 157 stitches or 31 (35) 39 arches.
After making 8 cm, leave 1 unfinished arch from both sides for the raglan and 1 (2) 5 x 1 arch in two rows and 10 (10) 9 x 1 arch and 1 x ½ arch. Finish at 29 (30) 31 cm.
Back
Make 78 (88) 98 chain stitches + 2 chain stitches increase, 6 cm = 6 rows of the main pattern, after which you will make the “spider web” pattern on 125 (141) 157 stitches or 31 (35) 39 arches. After making 8 cm, leave 1 unfinished arch from both sides and 1 (2) 5 x 1 arch in two rows and 10 (10) 9 x 1 arch and 1 x ½ arch. Finish at 29 (30) 31 cm.
Sleeves
Make 50 chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase and make 3 cm = 4 rows of single crochets, starting each row with 1 chain stitch increase instead of 1 single crochet. Then, continue with the “spider web” pattern, creating 27 arches in 1 row. Add 0 (1) 2 arches for forming arm-holes between 4 (4) 6 rows. In 3.5 (3.5) 5 cm = 4 (4) 6 rows from the beginning of the work, make the raglan line: in the same way as for the front. At 24.5 (25.5) 28 cm = 28 (29) 32 rows, finish your work.
Edging
Make 55 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase and complete the edging. Finish at 92 (104) 114 cm = 193 (217) 241 rows.
Assembly
Close the raglan and side seams. Fasten the edging with mixed yarn, starting from the right corner: 1 single crochet in the corner of your edging, 1 single crochet in the side seam, *1 single crochet in the next row of edging, 1 single crochet in the corresponding stitch of the set-up row*; repeat from * to *. After that, bind off the seams and fasten the neck-hole with 2 rows of single crochets using mixed yarn.
