Crochet Guide for Lilac Puntino Yarn: Patterns and Instructions

You’ll Need:

400 (450)g of lilac Puntino yarn (100% cotton; 160m/50g);

Crochet hook 3.5.

Size: S (M).

Used Patterns

Lace Pattern

The quantity of stitches is multiple of 33 + 10 + 3 chain stitches increase. Work according to scheme 1. Start with stitches before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with stitches after pattern repeat.

Net Pattern

The quantity of stitches is multiple of 3 + 2 + 3 chain stitches increase. Work in the same way as the lace pattern, but using scheme 2. Make 1^st-3^rd rows once, then repeat 2^nd and 3^rd rows.

Fringe

1^st row: single crochets;

2^nd row: * 1 single crochet, 1 picot, skip 1 stitch *; repeat from * to *.

Stitches Control

Lace pattern: 23 stitches x 11.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Net pattern: 25 stitches x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Make 274 (307) chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase and work with lace pattern. In 20 cm from the set-up row, decrease 9 (10) stitches x 1, by making 2 double crochets together in every group of double crochets. Repeat these decreases in 30 and 36 cm from the set-up row. In 42 cm from the set-up row, make 209 (227) single crochets, then work with net pattern. In 18 cm from the beginning of net pattern, divide your work into front and back.

Back

First, make back on the central 40 (44) cm, leaving 1 x 2 cm and 2 x 1 cm in every row from both sides for arm-holes. In 32 cm from the beginning of net pattern, leave the central 12 cm for the neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 2 cm and 1 x 1 cm in every row from inwards. In 35 cm from the beginning of net pattern, finish your work.

Right Front

Then, make the right front on the first 20 (22) cm, making the arm-hole from the right side in the same way as for the back. At the same time, leave 1 cm from the left side for neck-hole chamfer and 16 x 0.5 cm in every row. Finish your work at the height of the back.

Left Front

Make in symmetry to the right front.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Fasten the edges of the front with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of “shrimp stitch.” Fasten neck-hole and arm-holes with fringe. Make the 2^nd row of fringe along the bottom. For the strap, make a chain 150 cm long.
