You’ll Need:

300g of sectional coloring Azalia yarn (40% merino wool, 60% acryl; 270m/100g) in blue shades;

100g of the same yarn, but in burgundy coloring;

Crochet hook size 3;

3 buttons.

Back

Make 66 chain stitches with blue yarn and work with double crochets. In 35 cm, increase 30 chain stitches from both sides, then, make these stitches with double crochets.

In 18 cm, mark the central 30 crochets for the neck-hole, then, make 15 double crochets from both sides of the neck-hole. Cut the yarn.

Left Front

Make a big square according to scheme 1. Make 2 crochets together before and after ↑ in every 3rd row. Alternate the colors of yarn in the following way: 3 blue rows, 6 burgundy rows, 3 blue rows, 3 burgundy rows, 3 blue rows, and 4 burgundy rows. Make the remaining 7 crochets together. After that, make 50 crochets along the upper part of the square, make an additional 30 chain stitches. Crochet straight for 14 cm, leaving the first 30 crochets open for the neck-hole. Work with double crochets for 4 cm more, then, make 15 double crochets and 5 half double crochets from the neck-hole. Cut the yarn.

Right Front

Make 20 chain stitches and work with double crochets. In 53 cm, make 15 double crochets and 5 half double crochets. Cut the yarn. Make a small square according to scheme 2 (for the right sleeve). Alternate the colors of yarn in the following way: 6 burgundy rows, 3 blue rows, and 4 burgundy rows. Make the remaining 7 crochets together. Make 2 crochets together before and after ↑. Connect the front with the small square using kitchener’s stitch.

Assembly

Make shoulder and side seams. Fasten the neck-hole and front with 1 row of single crochets. Make 3 hanging loops for buttons on the left front.
