How to Create Beautiful Crochet Flowers with Red Heart Yarn

You’ll Need:

Red Heart with Love Yarn;

Crochet hook 5 mm.

Instructions

Using Color 1

R1: ch 3, sl st to 1st ch to join into a ring

R2: work 8 sc into the ring

R3: 2 sc in each st around, finish off and weave in ends.

Using Color 2

Join color 2 with a slip stitch join into any stitch from R3.

Note: Depending on your tension/gauge, you may wish to work 3 sc in each ch back to the joining st.

Petal Instructions

Petal 1: *chain 10, starting in the 2nd chain from the hook work 2 sc in each ch back to the joining st, 1 sl st to the same st you started from; 1 sl st in the next st*

Repeat from * to * around until you have 16 petals.

Finish off and weave in ends.
