Used Patterns
Rib Pattern
Rib, knitting needles 4: 3 knit sts, 3 purls by turn, make 1 cm with blue yarn, the rest – with white.
Neck-Hole Placket
Neck-hole placket, white yarn: cast on the sts on RS along the outer half as selvage sts. Make 3 sts from 4 rows. Make 3 circle rows with stockinette stitch and leave the sts in the 4th circle row. Make in the same way from WS. Then, make 1 circle row of knit sts, make 1 st from RS and WS together. Make 4 cm of white yarn and 1 cm of blue yarn.
Stockinette Stitch
Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls, in circle row – knit sts.
Pattern Cables
Pattern cables (16 sts), blue yarn, knitting needles 5: work according to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows according to the pattern, make beads with the next st as knit2tog. Repeat the pattern for 16 rows.
Stripped Pattern
Stripped pattern, stockinette stitch, knitting needles 5: make 14 blue rows and 2 white rows.
Raglan Decreases
Raglan decreases: step back 2 sts from the side, make knit2tog or knit3tog at the beginning of the row, make 1 broaching/double broaching at the end of the row.
Stitches Control
Stitches control: stockinette stitch: 20 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Pattern with cables: 28.5 cm x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back
Cast on 98 sts and make 4 cm of rib between selvage sts. Then, work with the pattern of cables between selvage sts. In 21 cm from rib, bind off 1 x 2 sts from both sides for raglan chamfers, then decrease 5 x 2 sts and 19 x 1 st in every 2nd row. In 18 cm from raglan chamfers, bind off the rest of the sts.
Front
Make in the same way as the back, but with a deeper neck-hole. For this, in 13 cm from the beginning of the raglan chamfer, bind off the central 26 sts and finish both sides separately. Decrease 1 x 3 sts and 1 x 2 sts in every 2nd row for the neck-hole. In 18 cm from the beginning of the raglan chamfer, all the sts should be bound off.
Sleeves
Cast on 38 sts and make 4 cm of rib between selvage sts, increase 2 sts in the last row. Then, work with the stripped pattern. For sleeve chamfers, increase 12 x 1 st in every 6th row from both sides, including the increased sts in the pattern. In 28 cm from rib, bind off 1 x 1 st from both sides for raglan chamfer, then decrease 3 x 1 st in every 4th row and 18 x 1 st in every 2nd row. In 18 cm from the beginning of the raglan chamfer, bind off the rest of the sts.
Assembly
Make raglan seams, side, and sleeve seams. Cast on 84 sts along the neck-hole with circular knitting needles and make a placket, as described above. Bind off the sts.
