Knitting needles 3.5 and 4.5;
Circular knitting needles 4.5.
Size:
S-M.
Used Patterns:
- Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls;
- Wrong-side pattern: in RS row – purls, in WS row – knit sts;
- 1 x 1 rib;
- Relief pattern: work according to the scheme, with only RS rows stated. Make WS rows as sts face, yarn overs as purls or as stated, and yarn overs in circular rows as knit sts or as stated.
Stitches Control:
21 sts x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions:
Back:
Cast on 114 sts with knitting needles 3.5 and make 6 rows of rib. Then, switch to knitting needles 4.5 and make 130 rows of stockinette stitch. Decrease 18 sts in the last row by making every 5th and 6th sts as knit2tog to finish with 94 sts. Proceed with the wrong-side pattern. In 42 rows from the beginning of the wrong-side pattern, bind off 4 sts from both sides for raglan chamfers. Then, decrease 25 x 1 st in every 2nd row by making the 4th and 5th sts from the selvage st together. In 52 rows from the beginning of raglan, bind off the remaining sts.
Front:
Make in the same way as the back. Bind off 4 sts from both sides for raglan chamfers in 42 rows from the beginning of the wrong-side pattern, then decrease 17 x 1 st in every 2nd row from both sides, similar to the back. In 36 rows from the beginning of raglan, bind off all the sts.
Left Sleeve:
Cast on 40 sts with knitting needles 4.5 and work with the relief pattern. For sleeve chamfers, increase 13 x 1 st in every 10th row from both sides to reach 66 sts. In 140 rows from the set-up row, bind off 4 sts from both sides for raglan chamfers. Then, make 1 knit st before and after the selvage st, making the 3rd and 4th sts as knit2tog in every 2nd row from both sides. In 36 rows from the beginning of raglan, work with short rows, omitting the finish on 7 x 2 sts in every 2nd row from the right side, while continuing decreases for raglan chamfers from the left side. In 52 rows from the beginning of raglan, bind off all the sts.
Right Sleeve:
Make symmetrically to the left sleeve.
Collar:
Cast on 108 sts with circular knitting needle 4.5 and work with the relief pattern in circular rows. In 60 rows from the set-up row, bind off all the sts.
Assembly:
Make raglan, side and sleeve seams. Sew collar.
