Continue after corner with 1 dc in next 16 (18, 20, 22, 24) sts, 1 inc in next, 1 dc in next 26 (28, 30, 32, 34) sts, 1 inc in next, 1 dc in next 16 (18, 20, 22, 24) sts, 1 inc in next, 1 dc in next, 13 (14, 15, 16, 17) sts. Join with a sl st with the first dc. Ch 2 and turn.
Round 2: 1 dc in the first st, 1 dc in each st to the corner, 1 inc in corner, 1 dc in each st to the next corner, 1 inc in corner, 1 dc in next 2 sts, ch 11 (12, 13, 14, 15) sts, skip 11 (12, 13, 14, 15) sts, 1 dc in next 2, ch 11 (12, 13, 14, 15) sts, skip 11 (12, 13, 14, 15) sts, 1 dc in next 2 sts, 1 inc in corner, 1 dc in next sts to the corner, 1 inc in corner, 1 dc in each st to the end of the round. Join with sl st with first dc. Ch 2 and turn.
Round 3: 1 dc in the first st, 1 dc in each st to the first corner, 1 inc in corner, 1 dc in each st to the next corner, 1 inc in corner, 1 dc in next (previous round no. of sts + 2) sts, ch (previous round no. of sts – 1) sts, skip (previous round no. of sts – 1), 1 dc in next 2 sts, ch (previous round no. of sts – 1), skip (previous round no. of sts – 1), 1 dc in next (previous round no. of sts + 2), 1 inc in corner, 1 dc in the next sts to the last corner, 1 inc in corner, 1 dc in each st to the end of the round. Sl st with first dc. Ch 2 and turn.
Note: when you have to skip sts, just pay attention that you have to skip the sts (mostly ch) to the 2 dc in the middle.
Repeat Rows 4-12:
Rows 4 – 12 (13, 14, 15, 16): repeat round 3.
At the end of these rounds, the first geometrical element is done, and if you want to keep “My Lucky” Blouse with only the V neck, you can continue from now working only in double crochet.
Round 13 (14, 15, 16, 18):
1 dc in the first st, 1 dc in each st to the first corner, 1 inc in corner, 1 dc in each st to the next corner, 1 inc in corner, 1 dc in next (previous round no. of sts + 2), ch 2, skip 2, 1 dc in next (previous round no. of sts + 2), 1 inc in corner, 1 dc in each st to the last corner, 1 inc in corner, 1 dc in each st to the end of the round. Ch 2 and turn.
With the next round, we will start the next geometrical element of “My Lucky” Blouse.
The first part of this is basically the same as we made until now only that is in mirror.
Round 14 (15, 16, 17, 18):
1 dc in the first st, 1 dc in each st to the first corner, 1 inc in corner, 1 dc in the next sts to the next corner, 1 inc in corner, 1 dc in next (same no. of st as previous round), ch 1, skip 1, 1 dc in next 2, ch 1, skip 1, 1 dc in next (same number of sts as previous round), 1 inc in corner, 1 dc in next sts to the last corner, 1 inc in corner, 1 dc in each st to the end of the round. Sl st with 1st dc. Ch 2 and turn.
Note: we have the same number of sts before and after the chains because we increase in the corner. So, we have 1 dc less from the chains but have 1 more from the corner increase.
You don’t have to keep counting the sts, just to know how many sts you had on the previous round. Just pay attention that the last st became a ch st.
Round 15 (16, 17, 18, 19):
1 dc in the first st, 1 dc in each st to the first corner, 1 inc in corner, 1 dc in next sts to the next corner, 1 inc in corner, 1 dc in the next (same no. of sts as previous rounds), ch (previous round no. of sts + 1), skip the sts to the 2 middle dc, 1 dc in next 2, ch (previous round no. of sts +1), skip the ch sts + 1, 1 dc in the next sts to the corner, 1 inc in the corner, 1 dc in each st to the last corner, 1 inc in corner, 1 dc in next sts to the end of the round. Sl st with first dc. ch 2 and turn.
For size Small, round 15 was the last round of the yoke. The next round will be the separating round.
For size Medium, Large, 1X Large, 2X Large repeat round 16 (17, 18, 19) until you have in total for the yoke:
- Medium – 18 rounds
- Large – 20 rounds
- 1X Large – 24 rounds
- 2X Large – 26 rounds
Next round will be the separating round. Because it is the first round of the Body, we will start counting the rounds from 1 again.
Body:
Round 1: 1 dc in the first st, 1 dc until you get to the first corner, 1 pdc (partial double crochet, an unfinished double crochet. Keep 2 loops on your hook), skip the sts for sleeve to the next corner, 1 pdc in the next corner. Yarn over and pull the yarn through all the loops on your hook.
Now, continue with the geometrical element until you get to the next corner. Proceed the same, joining the front and back side and let the sleeve apart. After the second join, continue with 1 dc in each st to the end of the round.
From now on, we will continue working in rounds without increasing in corners until you have the desired length.
You will have to continue with the geometrical motif on the front side. You will stop increasing the chain st when you will have the same number of chain st as when you started “My Lucky” Blouse.
Chain Stitch Requirements by Size:
- Small: 11 ch sts
- Medium: 12 ch sts
- Large: 13 ch sts
- 1X Large: 14 ch sts
- 2X Large: 15 ch sts
After getting to the same number, you will have to start decreasing the number of chain sts by one, on each side of the 2 middle dc’s.
Continue working the body to the desired length.
Sleeves:
For All Sizes:
Round 1: Join the yarn at the arm pit, in the right side corner. Ch 2, 2 pdc in the same st, 1 pdc in the next st (second corner), yarn over and pull the yarn through all loops on your hook.
Continue with 1 dc in each st to the end of the round. Sl st with the first st (the 2 dc cluster). Ch 2 and turn.
Round 2: 1 dc in the first st, 1 dc in each st around. Sl st with 1st dc. Ch 2 and turn.
Repeat round 2 until you get to the desired length of the sleeve or until you have:
- Small: 15 rounds
- Medium: 15 rounds
- Large: 17 rounds
- 1X Large: 17 rounds
- 2X Large: 18 rounds
