Order of Patterns for Front/Back

Due to the scheme 1, replace the 1^st stitch in every row to chain stitches increase, the quantity of which is stated on the scheme. Make 4 rows of pattern 1 = make 1^st-4^th rows once, 23 rows of pattern 2 = make 5^th-7^th rows once, then, repeat 6^th-7^th rows 10 times, and finish with pattern 1 = make 8^th-10^th rows once, then, repeat 9^th-10^th rows.

Pattern for Sleeves

Due to the scheme 2, replace every 1^st stitch of the row to chain stitches increase, the quantity of which is stated on the scheme. Start with stitches before pattern repeat, perform pattern repeat, and finish according to the pattern. Repeat 1^st-3^rd rows once, then, repeat 2^nd-3^rd rows.

Stitches Control

Pattern 1: 10 picots x 8 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Pattern 2: 5 arches x 12.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Front

Make 148 (160) 172 chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase and work according to the stated order = 49 (53) 57 picots or 24.5 (26.5) 28.5 arches in the 1^st row of pattern. In 49 (51) 51 cm from the set-up row, leave the central 11 (11) 13 picots and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, decrease 4 picots over 6 cm and finish on the remaining stitches at 56 (58) 58 cm.

Back

Make in the same way as the front. For the neck-hole, leave the central 19 (19) 21 picots in 54.5 (56.5) 56.5 cm from the set-up row.

Sleeves

Make 91 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase and work with the pattern for sleeves = 18 arches. For sleeve chamfers, increase 4 (3) 3 rows 3 (4) 4 x 1 arch. Finish at 19 cm height.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams, fold the sleeves in half and sew them up. Make the remaining seams. Fasten all the edges with 1 circle row of “shrimp stitch”.
