Knitting Instructions for a Stylish Cotton Pullover



You’ll Need:
550 (600) 600g of white yarn (51% cotton, 49% polyacryl; 79m/50g);
Knitting needles 6 and 7;
Circular knitting needles 6.

2 x 2 rib, knitting needles 6;
Relief pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple of 8 + 1 + 2 selvage sts. Work according to the scheme with knitting needles 7; only RS rows are stated on the scheme, make WS rows and yarn overs as purls.
Start with 1 selvage st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Then, repeat 1st-16th rows.Stitches Control:
12.5 x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm.Instructions:
Back:
Cast on 56 (64) 72 chain sts and make 12 cm of rib, increase 3 sts in the last row = 59 (67) 75 sts. Then, work with relief pattern and in 56 cm from rib, bind off the central 17 (17) 19 sts for the neck-hole. Finish each side separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 3 sts in the next 2nd row. In 58 cm from rib, bind off the rest 18 (22) 25 sts of shoulder from each side.
Front:
Make in the same way as back, but with a deeper neck-hole. For this, bind off the central 9 (9) 11 sts for the neck-hole in 53 cm from rib and 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row.
Sleeves:
Cast on 32 (32) 40 sts and make 13 cm of rib, increase 3 sts in the last row = 35 (35) 43 sts, then, work with relief pattern. At the same time, increase 10 x 1 st in every 6th row (8 x 1 st in every 6th row and 4 x 1 st in every 4th row) from both sides of rib for sleeve chamfers = 55 (59) 63 sts, include the increased sts in the pattern. In 34 cm from rib, bind off all the sts.
Assembly:
Make shoulder seams. Cast on 60 (60) 64 sts with circular knitting needles along the neck-hole line. Then, make 1 circle row of purls and 8 cm of rib, and then, bind off the sts according to the pattern. Sew up the sleeves, making side and sleeve seams.
