Crochet Scarf and Beret: Easy Tutorial for Beginners

You’ll Need

250g of 100% acrylic yarn in green color;

Crochet hook size 6;

Stitches Control

11 stitches = 10 cm.

Instructions

Scarf

Make 15 chain stitches and work according to the scheme. At a height of 160 cm, cut the yarn.

Assembly

Make 2 pom-poms and sew them to the short ends of the scarf.

Beret

Make 3 chain stitches and circle them in the ring with a slip stitch, as in all the following rows.

1^st row: Fasten the ring with 10 double crochets;

2^nd row: 2 double crochets from each stitch;

3^rd row: *1 double crochet, 2 double crochets from 1 stitch*; repeat from * to * to the end of the row;

4^th-6^th rows: *2 double crochets, 2 double crochets from 1 stitch*; repeat from * to * to the end of the row;

7^th row: 1 double crochet from each stitch;

8^th row: *9 double crochets, 2 double crochets bound off together*; repeat from * to * to the end of the row;

9^th row: 1 double crochet from each stitch;

10^th row: *7 double crochets, 2 double crochets bound off together*; repeat from * to * to the end of the row;

11^th row: 1 double crochet from each stitch;

12^th row: *6 double crochets, 2 double crochets bound off together*; repeat from * to * to the end of the row;

13^th row: *4 single crochets, 2 single crochets bound off together*; repeat from * to * to the end of the row;

14^th row: *3 single crochets, 1 single crochet bound off together*; repeat from * to * to the end of the row;

15^th row: Single crochets without increases.
