Knitting with 100% Acrylic Yarn: Instructions and Patterns

You’ll Need:

425g of 100% acrylic yarn;

Knitting needles 6;

Markers.

Size:

96.5 x 106.5 cm.

Used Patterns

Garter Stitch:

All knit stitches;

Relief Pattern:

1^st-3^rd rows: Knit;

4^th row (WS): 4 knit stitches, purl 2 together, 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to * to the last 4 stitches, 4 knit stitches;

5^th-7^th rows: Knit;

8^th row: 4 knit stitches, purls to the last 4 stitches, 4 knit stitches.

Stitches Control:

Relief pattern: 12 stitches x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Cast on 126 stitches and make 2 rows of garter stitch for the lower fringe. Then, work with the relief pattern. Repeat 1^st-8^th rows to 96.5 cm height. Finish with 7 rows of relief pattern. Then, make 2 rows of garter stitch for the upper fringe. Bind off the stitches loosely.

Assembly

Fold your work in half. You should get a rectangular 53.5 x 96.5 cm. Place a marker at a distance of 18 cm from the upper part, making armholes. Make side seams from marker to the lower edge.
