Create Gorgeous Crochet Hearts with 4 Ply Yarn

You’ll Need:

4 ply yarn;

Crochet hook 4.25 mm.

Instructions

Round 1:

Make a foundation row or round on the prepared item. Sc around the edge of the prepared item, giving enough ease (loosely enough) in stitches to lay flat and not pucker the cloth.

Round 2:

Make the hearts:

• Slip to join to the foundation row and ch up 5.
• Dc into the base chain (bch) (first chain at the base of chain 5).
• Sl into the bch.
• Dc into the base chain and ch 4.
• Sl to the base chain.
• Sl to the same foundation stitch below the heart.
  Heart complete.

Slip stitch 6 along the foundation and repeat from the beginning of round 2 around or to the end of the row.

Finish off and weave in tails.

Spritz with water and pin each heart open on a blocking board and allow them to dry.
