How to Crochet a Dress with Cotton Yarn and Tulle for Kids




You’ll Need
100g of white mercerized cotton yarn (240m/50g);
250g of the same yarn, but red color;
Crochet hook 2.5;
Tulle – 40 cm (width 140 cm);
Lace – 1.4 m.
Size
104-110 cm.
Instructions
Start your work with the waistline and go upwards. Make a chain of chain stitches the same length as your chest circumference.
Work with circular rows. At 16 cm height, decrease the stitches for arm-holes: 5 stitches from each side, 2 stitches in every following row.Fasten the top part with single crochets, then use “shrimp stitch” with red yarn. Make straps using single crochets and fasten them with “shrimp stitch”.
Make the skirt from the lower edge of the yoke according to the scheme with red yarn. Repeat the last pattern with white yarn. Finish with fringe using red yarn.
Construct the backing skirt from the rectangular tulle in the following way: sew up the side cut, attach the lace along the bottom part, and sew the upper edge to the skirt.
