Start with the Italian cast-on method of 87 stitches with knitting needles 3.5. Knit 6 rows of the "rice" pattern. Make 22 cm following this scheme. Finish the "rhomb" pattern at the top of the second rhomb; in the last right-side row, make knit2tog instead of 2 crossed knit stitches. At the same height, 22 cm, finish the "cable" pattern and knit these 9 stitches with stockinette stitch.

For the raglan line, bind off 3 stitches from both sides and then 1 stitch x 23 in every even row:

Right side: 1 selvedge stitch, 1 knit stitch, 2 purls, purl2tog;

Left side before the last 6 stitches: purl2tog, 2 purls, 1 knit stitch, 1 selvedge stitch.

Bind off the remaining stitches.

Front

Make in the same way as the back. Bind off the central 11 stitches for the neck-hole at 35 cm height and finish each part separately. Bind off 3 stitches x 1, 2 stitches x 1, 1 stitch x 1 in every even row along the neck-hole line and finish each part separately.

Sleeve

Start with the Italian cast-on method of 53 stitches with knitting needles 3.5. Make 2 rows of the "rice" pattern. Then, switch to knitting needles 4. Continue work according to the following scheme: 1 selvedge stitch, 1 knit stitch, 2 purls, purl2tog, 5 purls, 2 knit stitches, 2 purls, 9 stitches of "cable" pattern, 2 purls, 2 knit stitches, 5 purls, purl2tog, 2 purls, 1 knit stitch, 1 selvedge stitch. For "cable" pattern make 1 pattern repeat, then continue with stockinette stitch. Make decreases in every even row for the raglan line according to the instructions for the back - 1 stitch x 18. Bind off the remaining 17 stitches.

Assembly

Make side and raglan seams. For the collar, lift the stitches along the neck-hole with knitting needles 3.5, making a throw of 4 stitches on the raglan line from the right side. Knit the collar to 7 cm height. Switch to knitting needles 4 and continue work for 7 cm more. At the required height, make button-holes, knitting through 3 stitches from the edge - 1 yarn over, purl2tog. Sew the buttons.
