Knit 4 Below Technique

Knit 4 below: Insert needle in st in the 5th row down, drop st off needle and unravel 4 rows down, and knit, catching the 4 loose strands behind st.

Knitting Rows Instructions

Row 1 - Wrong Side: With color A, purl.

Row 2 - Right Side: With color A, knit.

Row 3: With color A, purl.

Row 4: With color A, knit.

Row 5: With color A, purl.

Row 6: With color B, knit 3, *knit 4 below, knit 3; repeat from * to end.

Row 7: With color B, purl.

Row 8: With color B, knit.

Row 9: With color B, purl.

Row 10: With color B, knit.

Row 11: With color B, purl.

Row 12: With color A, knit 1, *knit 4 below, knit 3; repeat from * to last 2 sts, knit 4 below, knit 1.

Repeat Rows 1-12.
