Transforming Crochet Doilies into Elegant Collars
You'll Need:
Crochet doily;
Scissors;
Threads;
Sewing machine.
Instructions
Cut the doily exactly in half. It is advisable to process the slices, but there is a little trick that is suitable only for natural threads: if you boil a doily, the loops will not open.
Carefully lift the edges of the doily and pin it with pins.
Using a small zigzag, sew the halves to the neck.Lower the edges of the resulting collar and manually sew in several places with inconspicuous stitches to lock it in the desired position.
