Description
Knit around on double pointed needles. Cast on 50-56-60 sts and knit the 1st row with knit sts, then knit 2-2-3 cm with rib 1 knit st/1 purl. Afterwards, knit 1 row with knit sts, making the quantity of sts equal to 54-54-58. Leave the first 21-21-25 sts for the heel, and transfer the remaining 33 sts to a pin (this is the top of the foot). Knit 5-5.5-6 cm of stockinette st for the heel, place the marker in the middle, and measure from this marker. Then, knit the heel as detailed above. Cast on 13-14-15 sts from both sides of the heel and return 33 sts for the top from the pin = 72-74-78 sts. Place a marker at the sole and pattern the 33 sts of the top. Make decreases from both sides at the same time: 2 cross knit sts together before the 33 top sts and 2 knit sts after the 33 top sts. Repeat these decreases in a row 12-12-12 times = 48-50-54 sts. Knit to the foot length of 18-19-22 cm (measure from the marker on the heel). Mark 1 st from both sides, leaving 23-24-26 sts for the top and bottom of the sock. Then knit with stockinette st through all the sts, narrowing the toe of the sock: 2 knit sts together before 2 sts before the marker, 1 knit st, and 2 knit sts together left. Make these decreases in a row, a total of 4-7-6 times and 6-4-6 times in each row = 8-6-6 sts. Cut the thread and weave all the ends.
