Pattern
Round 1
Ch 4, 9 dc in the 4th ch from the hook, join, ch 3 (10 dc)
Round 2
1 dc in the same st as ch3, 2 dc in each st around, join, ch 3 (20 dc)
Round 3
1 dc in the same st as ch3, *1 dc in next st, 2 dc in the next st*. Repeat from * to * around, join, ch 3 (30 dc)
Round 4
FLO, 1 hdc in each st around, join, ch 2 (30 hdc)
This makes a nice edge for the mug to stay in place on the coaster.
