Stop here and fold the tail in half. You will now crochet through both sides of your work. Put 1 dc into the next 3 stitches. Hdc into the next, and slst into the next. Now we will hdc into the next stitch, and put 1 dc into the next 2 stitches. For the last stitch, we will dc and then put a slst into the same stitch to finish off.

Fasten off.

Side Fins

Attach yarn between rows 8-9. Ch 2, and put a dc back into the next stitch of the body. Ch2, and slst into the same stitch you have just put the dc into.

Fasten off.

Repeat for the other side.

Dorsal Fin

Attach yarn between rows 12-13. Ch 2, and put a dc back into the next stitch down into the body (towards the tail). Ch 3 and slst into the same stitch you have just put the dc into.

Fasten off.
