Stitches

• Slip Stitch (SS) – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Pull through stitch and loop.
• Chain (Ch) – Yarn over. Pull through loop.
• Single Crochet (Sc) – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.
• Double Crochet (Dc) – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.

Instructions

Waist Band (AC)

G 4.25mm Crochet hook

• Ch 6.
• Row 1: In second chain from hook make one Sc. Sc across. (5)
• Row 2: Chain 1. Sc in BLO all the way across. (5)
• Repeat row 2 until you have a total of 52 rows.
• Finish off.
• Using a yarn needle join your final row to the beginning chains (You can also do this using a series of SSs).

Skirt (MC)

Working along side each row of the waist band.

• Join with a slip stitch to Row 1 of the waistband.
• Round 1: Ch 1. *Sc in the next 3 stitches. 3Sc in the next stitch*. Repeat from * to * all the way around. Join with a SS to the first stitch made.
• Round 2: Ch 4 (counts as first Dc and Ch 1 space.). Dc in same space. Skip the next stitch. *(Dc. Ch 1. Dc.) in same stitch. Skip the next stitch.* Repeat from * to * all the way around. Join with a SS to 3rd chain of beginning chain.
• Round 3: SS in the next Ch 1 space. Ch 4 (counts as first Dc and ch 1 space.). Dc in same space. *(Dc. Ch 1. Dc.) in the next Ch 1 space.* Repeat from * to * all the way around. Join with a SS to 3rd chain of beginning chain.
• Repeat row 3 til desired length.

Skirt Trim (AC)

• Round 1: Ch 1. Sc in same space and each Dc and chain space all the way around. Join with a SS to the first stitch made.
• Round 2: Ch 1. Sc in same stitch as join. Ch 3. *Skip the next Sc. Sc. Ch 3*. Repeat from * to * all the way around. Join with a SS to the first Sc made.
• Finish off skirt trim.

Bodice (MC)

Switch to F 3.75mm Crochet Hook.

• Join with a SS to row 1 of the waistband (on top).
• Round 1: Ch 4 (counts as first Dc and Ch 1 space.). Dc in same space. Skip the next stitch. *(Dc. Ch 1. Dc) in same stitch. Skip the next stitch.* Repeat from * to * all the way around. Join with a SS to 3rd chain of beginning chain.
• Round 2: SS in the next chain 1 space. Ch 4 (counts as first Dc and ch 1 space.). Dc in same space. *(Dc. Ch 1. Dc) in the next Ch 1 space.* Repeat from * to * all the way around. Join with a SS to 3rd chain of beginning chain.
• Row 3: SS across the next 3 stitches. Ch 3. *(Dc. Ch 1. Dc.) in the next Ch 1 space.* Repeat from * to * for a total of 9 V’s. Skip 1 stitch. Dc.

Begin Right Strap

• Row 5: Ch 3. *(Dc. Ch 1. Dc.) in the next Ch 1 space.* Repeat from * to * a total of 3 times.
• Row 6: SS across the next three stitches. Ch 3. *(Dc. Ch. Dc.) in the next Ch 1 space.* Repeat from * to * a total of 2 times. Skip 1 stitch. Dc.
• Row 7: Ch 3. (Dc. Ch 1. Dc.) in the next ch 1 space. Skip 1 stitch. Dc.
• Row 8-17: Repeat Row 7. Finish Off.

Begin Left Strap

With wrong side facing, Join with a SS to the end of Row 4.

• Repeat Rows 5-17. Finish off.
• Join straps evenly to the back of the bodice.
• Make a Single Crochet edging around the neckline and arm holes.

Weave in all ends.
