Youth to Adult – 20 – 24 inch head (It’s very stretchy)

Notes

• Ch1 does not count as a stitch
• Ch3 counts as a dc
• Ch4 counts as a dc, ch1

Pattern Instructions

RND 1: Ch 5, join in a circle, ch3, 9 dc in the circle, join, ch 3 (10 dc)

RND 2: Dc in the same st as the ch3, 2 dc in each dc around, join, ch 3 (20 dc)

RND 3: Dc in the same st as the ch3, 2 dc in each dc around, join, ch 3 (40 dc)

RND 4: DC in the same dc as ch3 dc,

• 1 dc in the next 2 dc, 2 dc in the next 1 dc,
• Repeat from * to * around, join, ch 3 (54 dc)

RND 5: 1 dc in the same dc as the ch3,

• dc in the next 8 dc, 2 dc in the next dc,
• Repeat from * to * around, join, ch 4 (60 dc)

• sk 2 dc, V st in the next, ch1,
• Repeat from * to * around, join, slst in the 1^st ch1 sp, ch 4 (20 V sts)

• V st in the next ch1 sp of the next V st, ch1
• Repeat from * to * around, join to the ch1 sp, and ch 4 (20 V sts)

If more length is needed, continue to repeat RND 7.
