Sizes
The poncho is designed to be big, comfortable, and roomy.
Each Row is about 1.5 inches.
Poncho is written for Size 1 (with Size 2 and 3 in parentheses).
- Size 1 - XS/S – 26 inch neck opening
- Size 2 – M/ L – 30 inch neck opening
- Size 3 – XL/ 2 XL – 34 inch neck opening
Notes
- Ch 4 counts as TR.
- Rows are joined with a slst to the Ch 4.
- When changing colors at the beginning of rows, ch 4 after the color change.

- R: 1 – R: 8 - Powder
- R: 9 – R: 14 – Sterling
- R: 15 – R: 19 - Wisteria
Instructions
RND 1: Ch 86 (94, 104). Join in a circle, being careful not to twist your ch.
RND 2: Ch 4, 1 tr, ch 2, 2 tr in the 1st ch, ch 2, sk 2 chs, *tr in the next 2 chs, ch 2, sk 2*. Repeat from * to * 9 (10, 11) more times. 2 tr, ch 2, 2 tr, in the next ch, ch 2, sk 2 *tr in the next 2 chs, ch 2, sk 2*. Repeat from * to * 9 (10, 11) more times. Join to the ch 4, sl st to the next ch 2 sp.
10 (11, 12) sets of 2tr, ch2 groups on each side, and 2 points of 2 tr, ch2, 2tr
RND 3: Ch 4, 1 tr, ch 2, 2 tr in the 1st ch2 sp, ch 2, *2 tr in the next ch2 sp, ch 2,* Repeat from * to * 10 (11, 12) more times. 2 tr, ch 2, 2 tr in the next ch2 sp, ch 2.
*2 tr in the next ch2 sp, ch2,* Repeat from * to * 10 (11, 12) more times. Join to the ch 4, sl st to the 1st ch2 sp.
11 (12, 13) sets of 2tr, ch2 groups on each side, and 2 points of 2 tr, ch2, 2tr
RND 4: Ch 4, 1 tr, ch 2, 2 tr in the 1st ch2 sp, ch 2, *2 tr in the next ch2 sp, ch 2,* Repeat from * to * 11 (12, 13) more times. 2 tr, ch 2, 2 tr in the next ch2 sp, ch 2.
*2 tr in the next ch2 sp, ch2,* Repeat from * to * 11 (12, 13) more times. Join to the ch 4, sl st to the 1st ch2 sp.
12 (13, 14) sets of 2tr, ch2 groups on each side, and 2 points of 2 tr, ch2, 2tr
Edge Trim
RND 18: Ch 3, 1 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in the ch2 sp of the back point, 1 dc in each tr, 2 dc in each ch 2 sp around to the front point, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in the ch2 sp of the front point, 1 dc in each tr, 2 dc in each ch 2 sp around to the back point, for a solid row of Dc for the trim.
Join to the 1st dc, and tie off. Weave in your ends.
Trim at Neck Opening
RND 19: Join yarn to the back point of the poncho, sc in each of the chs and sts, for a solid sc edge. Join to the 1st sc, tie off, and weave in your ends.
