Crochet Pattern for a Cozy Burgundy Sweater

You’ll Need:

400 (450)g of burgundy yarn (54% alpaca, 23% polyamide, 14% wool, 9% polyester; 115m/50g);

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple of 12 + 11. Work according to scheme 1. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat.

Note: make double crochets in chain sts of the previous row consistently. Make 1^st-5^th rows only once, then repeat 2^nd-5^th rows.

Pattern for placket: work according to scheme 2 with circle rows straight on the main pattern. Repeat 1^st-8^th circle rows.

Back:

Make 83 (95) chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with the main pattern. In 60 cm = 42 rows from the set-up row, finish your work.

Front:

Make in the same way as back.

Sleeves:

Make 59 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase for each sleeve and work with the main pattern. In 31.5 cm = 22 rows from the set-up row, finish your work.

Assembly:

Make all the seams. Sew the upper edge of sleeves + 1 cm from both sides to the corresponding place of front and back side seams.

Fasten the last row of back, 1^st sleeve, front and 2^nd sleeve with the pattern for placket.

For this, join the yarn with the help of 1 slip stitch on the arch (arrow A on the scheme). In 8 circle rows from the beginning of the pattern for placket, finish your work.
