  • Starting in 2nd CH from hook, *CH 10 (work back down this chain), 1SC in each st until you reach back to the main chain, SS into next CH on main chain ** Repeat * – ** in each st of main chain to the end

  • Sew between ears and down the middle of unicorn's neck.

Tail – Cloud Blue & White Yarn (Worked in 3 Sections)

Using Both Strands of Yarn Together

Section 1 – Short

  • *CH 20, 1SC in 2nd CH from hook, 1SC in each CH back to beginning ** repeat * – ** x 3 strands
  • Fasten off (leaving a long piece of yarn for sewing together)

Section 2 – Medium

  • *CH 30, 1SC in 2nd CH from hook, 1SC in each CH back to beginning ** repeat * – ** x 4 strands
  • Fasten off (leaving a long piece of yarn for sewing together)

Section 3 – Long

  • *CH 40, 1SC in 2nd CH from hook, 1SC in each CH back to beginning ** repeat * – ** x 4 strands
  • Fasten off (leaving a long piece of yarn for sewing together)

Tail – Sew sections to back end of unicorn with long section at bottom, medium section in middle and short section at the top.

Eyes and mouth details – Sew onto the unicorn's face with silver yarn.

Sew star shapes on the body with silver embroidery thread.

For Unicorn Horn Detail:

Using silver embroidery thread, I secured it at the bottom of the unicorn's horn and wrapped it around the whole of the horn tightly until I reached the top. I knotted the thread then put the needle through the middle of the horn and fastened the thread off securely at the bottom.
