Instructions

  1. Center (Brown)

    • Round 1: Start with a magic ring. Ch 1, 12 sc in the ring. Pull the ring tight and join with a sl st. (12 sts)

  2. Petals (Yellow)

    • Round 1: Join yellow yarn in any st. Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in the same st, ch 1, skip 1 st, 2 dc in next st around. Join with a sl st to top of ch-3.
    • Round 2: Sl st to ch-1 space, ch 3 (counts as dc), 4 dc in same space, sc in next ch-1 space, 5 dc in next ch-1 space around. Join with a sl st to top of ch-3.
    • Round 3: Ch 1, sc in same st, skip next 2 dc, 7 dc in next sc, skip next 2 dc, sc in next dc around. Join with a sl st to first sc.
    • Fasten off and weave in ends.
  3. Leaves (Green, Make 2 for Each Sunflower)

    • Ch 10.
    • Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next ch, tr in next 3 ch, dc in next ch, hdc in next ch, sc in last ch. Ch 1, turn.
    • Row 2: Working on the opposite side of the foundation chain, sc in first st, hdc in next st, dc in next st, tr in next 3 sts, dc in next st, hdc in next st, sc in last st.

Skirt Base

  1. Waistband (Gray)

    • Round 2: Ch 4 (counts as tr), 2 tr in same st, skip 2 sts, 3 tr in next st around. Join with a sl st to top of ch-4.
    • Round 3: Ch 3 (counts as dc), 3 dc in next space between tr clusters around. Join with a sl st to top of ch-3.
    • Round 4: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join with a sl st to first sc. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Assembly

  1. Attach sunflowers and leaves to the skirt, positioning them evenly around the waistband.
