Beak

  • Make sc in a square as shown in the picture using dark grey yarn.
  • Crochet in squares/circles until finished.
  • 2sc, turn 90 degrees, 2sc, turn 90 degrees, 2sc, turn 90 degrees, 2sc, usc, dec, 2sc, dec, cut yarn.

Finish like you have learned.

Tail Feathers

Make sc in a square as shown in the picture. Start in the middle of the lower side of your square. Use grey yarn. Crochet in squares/circles until finished.

Cut yarn. Keep finishing like you have done with the body.

Wings

Make sc in a row around your bird’s body, as shown in the picture. We will work in rows, which means we have to turn the row at the end of each row to work back and forth.

16 sc, turn, skip the first sc in your row, 2sc, *inc by making 2hdc* × 2, 8sc, *inc by making 2hdc* x 2, 1sc, turn 90 degrees, 1sc in the outer side of the last sc of the first row, 1ss beneath your first sc, turn.

  • 19sc, turn 90 degrees, 2sc, iss, turn.
  • 20sc, turn 90 degrees, 2sc, is.

Cut yarn. Finish as learned before.
