Easy Crochet Pattern for a Stylish Plaid

You'll Need:
100% acrylic yarn (290m/127g);
Crochet hook 5.5.
Size:
38 x 40.5 cm
Stitch Control:
3 pattern repeats = 6.5 cm.
Instructions:
Make 57 chain stitches.
1st Row: 2 double crochets in the 3rd stitch from the crochet hook, * skip 2 stitches, (1 single crochet, 2 double crochets) in the next stitch; repeat from * to * to the last 3 stitches, skip 2 stitches, 1 stitch in the last stitch = 18 pattern repeats, turn.
2nd Row: 2 chain stitches, 2 double crochets in the 1st crochet, * skip 2 crochets, (1 single crochet, 2 double crochets) in the next stitch; repeat from * to * finishing with 1 single crochet in the last stitch, turn.
Repeat the 2nd row until reaching 40.5 cm in height, do not cut the yarn.
Fastening:
2 chain stitches, 2 double crochets in the 1st crochet, * skip the next 2 crochets, (1 single crochet, 2 double crochets) in the next stitch; repeat from * around your work, finish with a slip stitch.
