Crochet hook 4 mm

Red Heart COMFORT (4) –100% acrylic. Use any yarn weight you have.

Crochet heart amigurumi size:

About 11*10 cm. The size depends on the yarn’s weight and size of the crochet hook.

Crochet heart pattern for beginners:

Row 1: Ch 6. Work in back ridge of chain, starting from the 2nd chain from hook, 5 sc. Turn.

Row 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in first st, 3 sc in next 3 st, 2 sc in last st. Turn.

Row 3: Ch 1, 2 sc in first st, 5 sc in next 5 st, 2 sc in last st. Turn.

Row 4: Ch 1, 2 sc in first st, 7 sc in next 7 st, 2 sc in last st. Turn.

Row 5: Ch 1, 10 sc in next 10 st, 2 sc in last st. Turn.

Row 6: Ch 1, 2 sc in first st, 11 sc in next 11 st. Turn.

Row 7: Ch 1, sc2tog, 10 sc in next 10 st, 2 sc in last st. Turn.

Cut the yarn and repeat all above for the second panel. At the end do not cut the working yarn. Place two hearts together, matching up all sides. Attach two layers by single crocheting around. Leave a little hole and fill the heart with fiber. Single crochet till the ends, Sl st to first stitch to join.

Adding a trim:

If you want to add trim as I did: *Ch1, sl st in next st – repeat from * around.

Weave in ends.
