You’ll Need:

450g of thin 100% acryl yarn in blue color;

350g of the same yarn, but in dark-blue color;

Crochet hook 3.5 and 4.

Size:

M.

Stitches Control:

14 sts = 10 cm.

Note:

Work in 2 threads of yarn – 1 blue and 1 dark blue.

Instructions

Back

Make 71 chain sts with crochet hook 3.5 and work with pattern due to the scheme 1.

At 46 cm height, bind off 6 sts from both sides for arm-holes = 59 sts and crochet straight. At 68 cm height, finish your work.

Right Front

Make 41 chain sts with crochet hook 3.5 and work due to the scheme 1. At 46 cm height, bind off 6 sts from left side for arm-hole = 35 sts and crochet straight to the total height of 68 cm.

Left Front

Make in symmetry to the right front.

Sleeves

Make 41 chain sts with crochet hook 3.5 and work due to the scheme 1, increase 5 x 1 st in every 8th row from both sides. At 48 cm height, make sleeve cap due to the scheme 2 and finish your work at 56 cm height.

Assembly

Make shoulder, side and sleeve seams, leave the upper 4 cm before the sleeve cap open. Sew up the sleeves in the arm-holes, connect and sew the rest 4 cm of sleeves. For collar, lift 65 sts along the neck-hole line: 19 sts of each half of front and 27 sts of back and work due to the scheme 1. At 12 cm height, cut the yarn. Fasten the lower edge of sleeves with 2 rows due to the scheme 1 and 2 rows of single crochets, decrease 6 sts in the 1st row = 35 sts. Fasten front and neck-hole line with 2 rows of single crochets.

Cord Making

For cord, make 31 chain sts with crochet hook 4 and make 2 rows of half double crochets and cut the yarn. Make 2 cords. Sew one cord to the right half of front and the second cord to the left side seam. For decoration, make 3 cords 45 cm, 72 cm, and 80 cm long. Make a chain of the needed size for each cord and fasten it with 1 row of half double crochets. Sew the cords to the right front, forming an ornament.

You are so kind.  I had crocheted for years but Arthritis made it impossible.  Then I tried an ergonomic hook and bought a set of them.  Now I am a crocheter again.  I have lots to learn.  Again THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Thank you so much for looking, larger sizes are sometimes very difficult to find.

I would love to make this in a XL but the pattern offers no conversion. Can you send a larger conversion to increase size.

Blessings
