​Crochet Top with Flowers

You’ll need:

200g of Open Bay An yarn (100% cotton; 200m/20g) of turquoise color;

20g of the same yarn, but in white color;

10g of the same yarn, but in yellow, light-green and dark-green colors (each);

Crochet hook 2.

Size: M.

Instructions

Make pattern design in natural size. Work in 2 threads of yarn, flowers and leaves – in 1 thread.

Back

Make 120 chain sts (15 pattern repeats) + 3 chain sts increase and crochet straight due to the scheme 1. At 21 cm height from the set-up row, start making decreases from both sides – ½ pattern repeat x 6 times. In 25 cm from the beginning of the set-up row, finish your work (there are 9 pattern repeats left).

Front

Make 120 chain sts (15 pattern repeats) + 3 chain sts increase and crochet straight due to the scheme 1. At 21 cm height from the set-up row, start making decreases from both sides – ½ pattern repeat x 8 times. In 27 cm from the beginning of work, crochet straight. Make the rest 7 pattern repeats to 12 cm height. Leave the central 3 pattern repeats for the neck-hole and bind off ½ pattern repeat x 4 times in every row from both sides.

Assembly

Make side seams. Fasten the bottom of top due to the scheme 2. Fasten the neck-hole line with 1 row of single crochets, finish the chain to the needed length from the right side. Make collar due to the scheme 3, make 2 button-loops from one side and sew 2 buttons on the opposite side. Decorate the front part with previously made elements due to the schemes 4-7. Place bead in the center of every big and small flower.
