You’ll Need:
150g of beige 100% cotton yarn;
50g of red 100% cotton yarn;
Crochet hook 1.25.
Size:
M-L.
Stitches Control:
16 filet squares x 16 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
At first, make pattern design in natural size due to your measurements.
Start work with the main pattern (scheme 22) from up to down.
1 filet square: 1 double crochet, 1 chain st.
Back
Make 128 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work due to the scheme 22 (= 3 pattern repeats +3 chain sts for the symmetry). You should get 2 pattern repeats in height and 2 first rows of the scheme. When the height of your work is 26 cm, leave 4 sts for arm-holes from both sides. At 42 cm height, leave the central 20 sts for neck-hole, after that finish both parts separately. For smooth rounding, leave 1 square x 4 from the inner edge. Make 3 rows on the rest 14 squares and finish your work at 46 cm height.
Front
Make in the same way as back, but start making neck-hole at 26 cm height, bind off 1 square x 14 times in every row. At 46 cm height, finish your work.
Assembly
Make shoulder and side seams. Fasten the neck-hole with 1 row of single crochets and 3 rows of half-crochets. The edges of arm-holes – 1 row of single crochets, 2 rows of half-crochets. For better fitting in front and neck-hole corner, make 2 half-crochets together.
