How to Crochet a Stunning XXL Pink Dress

You’ll Need:

500g of 100% mercerized yarn of pink color;

Crochet hook 1.

Instructions

Take your measurements and make a pattern design in natural size.

Make a small sample for defining the needed quantity of filet squares. In this sample, there are 84 (60 for the pattern and 12 for the sides).

Back

Make 252 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase. Make the first 118 rows according to the scheme 1.

Then, leave 20 squares for each shoulder and turn to making the neck-hole according to the same scheme.

The total height of the back should be 122 rows.

Front

Make in the same way as the back, but with a deeper neck-hole. For this, make 102 rows, after that, start forming the neck-hole line according to the scheme 2.

Leave 20 squares for each shoulder, and starting from the 30th square, decrease 1 square x 10 times. Finish the front part with 10 rows without decreases and cut the yarn. The height of the front should be the same as the height of the back.

Measure 32 squares from the shoulder seam (or 21 cm) for the arm-holes. The diameter of the arm-hole is 64 squares or 42 cm. Then, make side seams from the arm-hole to the waist. This will be 24 rows of 12 cm.

Make widening. Join the yarn at the beginning of the front and work with a filet net, don’t finish the last 4 squares. Make 3 squares, don’t finish 1 double crochet and 1 square. There should be 4 sts on the crochet hook. Turn your work, skip 1 square on the back, make 3 double crochets and don’t finish to the end. There should be 7 sts on the crochet hook, which should be crocheted together; after that, continue work to the end of back (until there are 10 squares left).

Make the second corner in the same way.

Sleeves

Join the yarn to the bottom of the arm-hole and crochet around to the needed length. Fasten the edges according to the scheme 3.
