How to Knit a Stylish Cotton Hat

You’ll Need:
50g of white Lotos yarn (100% cotton; 250m/100g);
Knitting needles 2.
Head Circumference:
56 cm.
Used Patterns:
- 1 x 1 rib.
- Relief pattern:
- 1st row: * 3 purls, yarn over, knit2tog*; repeat from * to *;
- 2nd-4th rows: as sts face;
- 5th row: * 3 purls, knit2tog, yarn over*; repeat from * to *;
- 6th row: as 2nd row.
Repeat 1st-6th rows.
Stitches Control:
22 sts x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions:
Cast on 90 sts and work with 1 x 1 rib for 2 cm. Work with relief pattern. At 19 cm from the beginning of work, start making decreases for hat’s narrowing in every 2nd row. For this, make knit2tog in every 5 sts, in the next row – in every 4 sts, then, in every 3 sts, in every 2 sts, in every st. Then, make knit2tog. Tighten the rest sts with working yarn.
Assembly:
Make hat seam.
