Crochet Shawl with Flower Pattern and Picot Fringe



You’ll Need:
225g of light-beige mélange yarn (70% mohair, 30% silk; 210m/50g);
Crochet hook 5.
Used Patterns
Flower pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 8 + 1. Work due to the scheme. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat, follow the arrows in the 2nd and 4th rows.
Fringe of picots: * 1 single crochet, 2 chain sts, 1 picot, 2 chain sts*; repeat from * to *, 1 slip st in the initial chain st.
Stitches Control:
18.5 sts x 5.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
1 pattern repeat = 4.5 cm.
Instructions
Make 25 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work with flower pattern = 2 pattern repeats + ½ pattern repeat from both sides. For widening, increase 7 pattern repeats on the following 114.5 cm = 63 rows = 9 + ½ pattern repeats. In 229 cm = 126 rows from the set-up row, the middle is reached. Finish your work in reflection. In 458 cm = 252 rows from the set-up row, finish your work.
Assembly
Fold shawl in half RS inwards, set-up row and bound off edge should correspond. Make seam between marks. Fasten all loose edges with a fringe of picots, make single crochets in single crochets of the set-up row.
