Crochet Shawl Instructions and Materials

You’ll Need:
400g of white acryl yarn (350m/100g);
50g of other colors yarn;
Crochet hook 2.5.
Size:
180 х 90 cm.
Instructions
For making motif due to the scheme A choose the yarn of the same color, but different shades, e.g. blue and light-blue. Make the first 2 rows with light-blue yarn, then, 2 rows with blue yarn and finish motif with white yarn. Make the next motif with another color center. Join the new motif to the previous motif with white yarn “picot in picot”, leaving long arches corner open. Connect them at the moment of making the 4th motif, catching all corner arches of the previous row. Continue work to the needed size of the shawl, making triangle motifs according to the scheme B.
Assembly
Fasten the ready-made shawl in the following way: lower edges – with arches of 5 chain sts, connecting them to picots with single crochets, and connect long corner arches, making 1 double crochet, 5 chain sts, and 1 double crochet in the arches. Fasten the upper edge with single crochets and “picots” in every 3rd crochet. Make tassels 15 cm long and sew them to the bottom of the shawl.
