Hello everyone my name is Rachel, I'm in California, and I had to do something else besides Face book, I got started reading, but couldn't get pass the 5th chapter, it was dragging. So I decided that would like to take a try in crocheting, I've done this before, but never really did much. So I'm here to learn something and hopefully to make something cute to give as Christmas gifts. I look forward to meeting new people, and see what everyone has made. you all have a great day.

I am new here and really want to learn to knit and crochet. Don't know the first thing about it. H
I am new, can use all the help I can get. I want to learn to knit/crochet and know absolutely nothing about either. Would really appreciate someone's help. For instance I have heard to start with a simple little project. Dish cloth?

Simple summer hat pattern
Hello, ladies! I need a pattern for simple summer hat for very beginners. I'm teaching my niece to crochet, she has already practiced some stitch patterns and now she wants to make a light hat. Please, it should be very simple without any super fancy patterns. Of course, they look wonderful, but she won't be able to make it properly. Many thanks from my niece and me!
