Cast on 61 (65) 69 stitches with knitting needles 9 and make 5 cm of garter stitch, 1 RS row of knit stitches, and 1 WS row of purls. Then, make 11 cm of main pattern 1 and 11 cm of main pattern 2 alternating. Increase 1 x 1 stitch from both sides for side chamfers, 4 x 1 stitch in every 22nd row = 71 (75) 79 stitches. At 49 cm from the beginning of work, bind off 1 x 6 stitches from both sides for arm-holes = 59 (63) 67 stitches. At 64 (65) 66 cm from the beginning of work, bind off the central 19 stitches for neck-hole, then decrease 1 x 3 stitches, 1 x 2 stitches, and 2 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row. At 68 (69) 70 cm from the beginning of work, bind off the remaining 13 (15) 17 stitches of each shoulder.

Front

Make in the same way as back.

Sleeves

Cast on 31 stitches with knitting needles 9 and make 5 cm of garter stitch, 1 RS row of knit stitches, and 1 WS row of purls. Then, make 11 cm of main pattern 1 and 11 cm of main pattern 2 and at the same time increase 1 x 1 stitch from both sides for sleeve chamfer placket, then, 6 x 1 stitch in every 16th row (5 x 1 stitch in every 14th row and 2 x 1 stitch in every 12th row) = 45 (47) 49 stitches. At 52 (51) 50 cm from the beginning of work, bind off all stitches.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. For the collar, cast on 59 stitches along neck-hole with circular knitting needles 8. Make 10 cm with circle rows of garter stitch. Sew up the sleeves. Make side seams and sew up the sleeves.
