You’ll Need:

600 (650)g of dust pink 100% cotton yarn (104m/50g);

Knitting needles 3.5;

Circular knitting needles 3.5.

Size:

S (M).

Used Patterns

Wrong-side Pattern

In RS row – purls, in WS row – knit sts;

Relief Pattern A

The quantity of sts is multiple of 12 + 1 + 2 selvage sts. Work according to the scheme, which states only RS rows.

Make sts and yarn overs in WS rows as purls. Start with 1 selvage st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, and finish with sts after pattern repeat.

Repeat 1st-12th rows.

Relief Pattern B

Make in the same way as Relief Pattern A, but repeat only 1st-6th rows.

Stitches Control:

21.5 sts x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 99 (111) sts and make 1 cm = 2 rows of wrong-side pattern for placket. Continue work with Relief Pattern A. Bind off the central 47 sts for neck-hole in 64 cm = 186 rows from the placket and finish both sides separately. In 66 cm = 192 rows from the placket, bind off the rest 26 (32) sts of shoulder.

Front

Make in the same way as back. For V-shaped neck-hole, bind off the central st in 49.5 cm = 144 rows from the placket and finish both sides separately. For chamfer, bind off 23 x 1 st in every 2nd row from inwards.

Sleeves

Cast on 51 sts for each sleeve and make placket in the same way as back. After that, make 4 cm = 12 rows of Relief Pattern A, then continue work with Relief Pattern B. At the same time, increase 13 x 1 st in every 10th row (19 x 1 st in every 6th row) from both sides as sts face = 77 (89) sts. For the lower sleeve cap, bind off 1 x 3 sts from both sides in 46 cm = 134 rows from the placket, then bind off 6 x 3 (4) sts in every 2nd row. In 51 cm = 148 rows from the placket, bind off the rest 35 sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. For placket, cast on 111 sts along the neck-hole with circular knitting needles and make 2 circle rows of purls. Then, bind off all the sts as purls. Sew up the sleeves and finish by making side and sleeve seams.
