Special Stitches Guide for Knitters: Mastering Cable Techniques with Detailed Patterns

Special Stitches

1 over 3 Left Cross (Cable 4 Left – C4L) - 1/3 LC: sl 1 st on cable needle and hold in front, k3, then k1 from cable needle;

1 over 3 Right Cross (Cable 4 Right – C4R) - 1/3 RC: sl 3 sts on cable needle and hold in back, k1, then k3 from cable needle.

Panel worked over 13 stitches on a background of reverse stockinette.

Row Patterns

1st row (WS): K2, p9, k2;

2nd row: P2, 1/3 LC, k1, 1/3 RC, p2;

3rd row: K2, p9, k2;

4th row: P2, k9, p2

Repeat 1st-4th rows.
