Make 5 chain stitches, twist the crochet hook and chain a total of 16 times. Work on all stitches with single crochets, then insert the crochet hook behind the chain, draw the stitch and work with single crochets.
Stitch Control:
Main pattern: 5 pattern repeats x 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Square motif: 14 x 14 cm.
Instructions
Make the square motif according to scheme 1 with violet yarn. Fasten with “shrimp stitch” along the edge, don’t cut the yarn, make 9 rows of single crochets through the front loop with green yarn and create picots in the corners. For fringe, make 3 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase with green yarn and work with straight and reversed rows of double crochets. Insert the fringe through the 9th row, fastening both the beginning and end.
Create 3 circle motifs with green yarn, joining them to the square motif in the last row. Fasten the edge of petals on the 2 upper motifs with single crochets and violet yarn. Make fringe according to scheme 4a with green yarn, connecting it in the process of working with motifs (see the motif connection scheme). Add decoration according to scheme 4b in the center of the fringe with violet yarn. Fasten the fringe according to scheme 4c from the outer side.
Construct 2 square motifs according to scheme 2, connecting them with fringe while completing the last row. For the main cloth, make 328 chain stitches with violet yarn and work with the main pattern in circular rows. After crocheting to the lace element, sew it to the main cloth and continue working with straight and reversed rows.
At 42 cm from the beginning, divide your work in half (back and front) for armholes and crochet both sides separately. At 18 cm from the division of work, create shoulder seams while finishing the last row.
Assembly
Fasten the edges of the top and armholes with 2 rows of single crochets and 1 row of “shrimp stitch.” Fill the upper part of the lace element to the round neck-hole with arches of 5 chain stitches using violet yarn.
