Tassels

Make 26 tassels:

Cut a piece of cardboard 5" [12.5 cm] wide. Wind yarn around cardboard 30 times. Break yarn leaving a long end and thread the end through the needle. Slip the needle through all loops and tie tightly. Remove cardboard and wind yarn tightly around loops 1" [2.5 cm] below the fold. Fasten securely. Cut through remaining loops and trim ends evenly. Sew 1 tassel at the end of each ‘mock’ cable across the bottom and top edges of the blanket.
