3 chain (counts as 1 dc), skip the first stitch, 1 dc into the next stitch, *LCL over the next stitch, 1 dc into each of the next 3 stitches; repeat from * omitting 1 dc from the end of the last repeat, turn;

3rd Row

3 chain (counts as 1 dc), skip the first stitch, 1 dc into the next and each stitch to the end, working the last stitch into the top of the turning chain (tch), turn;

4th Row

3 chain (counts as 1 dc), skip the first stitch, *1 dc into each of the next 3 stitches, 1 LCL over the next stitch; repeat from * ending with 1 dc into each of the last 4 stitches, working the last stitch into the top of the turning chain (tch), turn;

5th Row

3 chain (counts as 1 dc), skip the first stitch, 1 dc into the next and each stitch to the end, working the last stitch into the top of the turning chain (tch), turn.
