Special Stitches and Row Sequences in Knitting

Introduction to Special Stitches
Special stitches are essential techniques in knitting that can elevate your projects. Here, we will cover two of the most important special stitches: M3 and skpo.
M3 (Make Three)
To perform the M3 stitch, insert the needle as if to knit, wrap the yarn around, and make a knit stitch without dropping the stitch from the left needle.
Then, yarn over (yo), and again insert the needle as if to knit, wrap the yarn around, and make a knit stitch before dropping the stitch from the needle.skpo (Slip, Knit, Pass Over)
For the skpo stitch, slip one stitch to the right needle knitwise, then knit the next stitch and drop this stitch off the left needle. Next, insert the left needle into the slipped stitch, and pass it over the knit stitch to complete.
Stitch Count Requirements
The quantity of stitches needed is a multiple of 4 + 3 + 2 for selvage stitches. Always start and finish every row with 1 selvage stitch.
