Strap

CH 10. Join to first CH. HDC into each of the next 9 CH. Do not finish off. Use a stitch marker to save your stitch. Attach second color yarn to the 10th CH. CH 1. HDC into the same CH.
HDC into the next 8 HDC of the previous color. Using a stitch marker, save your stitch.

Rotate back and forth between the two colors, spiraling around to form your purse strap. Repeat until your strap is at least 2.5 ft long or until the desired length.

To finish off, sc into the next stitch, and then slip stitch into the next stitch with both colors.

When piecing together your purse, use a yarn needle and whip stitch. The side of the “sides” that are wider, go towards the bottom. The side that is skinner (with 7 SC ) goes towards to the top of the purse.
