You’ll Need:

400 (400) 450 (500) 550 (600)g of Novita Kelo yarn (50% wool, 50% acryl; 50m/50g).

Knitting needles size 8.

1 button.

Size:

Available sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (XXL).

Chest circumference: 76 (84) 92 (100) 110 (120) cm.

Length: 47 (49) 51 (53) 55 (58) cm.

Stitches Control:

10 sts x 17 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 42 (46) 50 (54) 58 (62) sts and knit, starting with the 1st WS row, dividing sts in the following way: 11 (13) 15 (17) 19 (21) sts of pearl pattern, 20 sts of pattern according to scheme 1, 11 (13) 15 (17) 19 (21) sts of pearl pattern. Repeat the 1st-2nd rows of pattern according to scheme 1.

At 28 (29) 30 (31) 32 (34) cm height, increase 2 sts from both sides to form sleeves. Repeat these increases twice in every 2nd row to reach 54 (58) 62 (66) 70 (74) sts. At 16 (17) 18 (19) 20 (21) cm height of arm-hole, bind off the central 20 sts for the neck-hole, leaving sts on the right side and knitting only the left side. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st in every 2nd row from inwards until reaching 14 (16) 18 (20) 22 (24) sts. At 19 (20) 21 (22) 23 (24) cm height of arm-hole, the shoulder edge is reached.

Left Front

Continue knitting straight for 7 cm more. Then, for smooth rounding, increase 2 x 1 st, 1 x 3 sts and 1 x 11 sts in every 2nd row from inwards to achieve 30 (32) 34 (36) 38 (40) sts. Work the increased sts according to scheme 2, repeating pattern C-D (= 16 sts). Repeat the 1st-6th rows of pattern according to scheme 2. When the height of the arm-hole matches that of the back arm-hole, bind off 3 x 2 sts in every 2nd row from the left side to finish with 24 (26) 28 (30) 32 (34) sts. Continue working according to the pattern. When the height of the front equals that of the back, bind off the sts.

Right Front

Work in symmetry to the left front, but increase sts according to pattern on scheme 2, repeating pattern A-B.

Assembly

Make side seams. Cast on 68 sts along the edge of the neck-hole and knit 4 cm of garter stitch. Bind off the sts. Sew on the button.
