​Bright Crochet Shawl

You’ll need:

6 skeins of sectional coloring yarn (100% thin merino wool; 180m/50g) in coral-pink-purple color;

Crochet hook 4,5.

Size: 70 x 170 cm.

Stitches control: 4 sts x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Make 128 chain sts.

1st row: 1 single crochet in the 8th chain st from crochet hook, * 5 chain sts, skip 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the next st*; repeat from * to * = 30 chain sts + chain sts increase;

2nd row: turn, 7 chain sts, 1 single crochet behind the 1st chain + 3 chain sts + 1 single crochet behind the same chain = 1 picot, * 5 chain sts, 1 single crochet behind the next chain, 5 chain sts, 1 picot behind the next chain*; repeat from * to *, 2 chains, 5 chain sts, 1 single crochet behind the next chain, 5 chain sts, 1 single crochet behind the last chain;

3rd row: turn, 7 chain sts, 1 single crochet behind the 1st chain, * 5 chain sts, 1 single crochet behind the next chain of 5 chain sts*; repeat from * to *, 5 chain sts, 1 single crochet behind chain st of the previous row;

4th row: turn, 7 chain sts, 1 single crochet behind the first chain, * 5 chain sts, 1 picot behind the next chain*; repeat from * to *, make the last single crochet behind chain sts increase of the previous row;

5th row: as the 3rd row.

Repeat2nd-5th rows.

Crochet straight until the length of work is about 170 cm, make the last row in the following way: 5 chain sts, 1 single crochet behind chain, * 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet behind next chain*; repeat from * to * to the end of row. Don’t cut the yarn, make fringe: turn and make 40 chain sts, 1 single crochet in single crochet, 3 single crochets behind 3 chain sts, * 1 single crochet in single crochets, 40 chain sts, 1 single crochet in the same single crochet*; repeat from * to *. Make fringe from the opposite side in the same way.
