You’ll need:

200g of pastel light-blue yarn (80% wool, 15% silk, 5% polyamide; 50m/50g);

200g of the same yarn, but in golden-yellow color;

200g of the same yarn, but in grey-brown color;

150g of the same yarn, but in blue-green color;

Knitting needles 7 and 9;

Circular knitting needles 7.

Size: S (M) L.

1 x 1 rib;

Pattern of slipped sts: the quantity of sts is odd. Work due to the scheme, on which both RS and WS rows are stated. Start with 1 selvage st, pattern repeat, finish with st after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1st-8th rows.

Marked decrease, right side: 1 selvage st, knit2tog to the left.

Left side: the last 2 sts before selvage st as knit2tog, 1 selvage st.

Stripes order: 20 rows with pastel light-blue yarn, 28 golden-yellow rows, 28 grey-brown rows, 28 blue-green rows = totally, 104 rows.

Stitches control: 11,5 sts x 16 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 53 (57) 61 sts with pastel light-blue yarn with knitting needles 7 and make 5 cm with 1 x 1 rib for placket. Continue work with pattern of slipped sts due to the scheme 2 with knitting needles 9 with straps order. In 44 cm = 70 rows (42,5 cm = 68 rows) 41,5 cm = 66 rows from placket, bind off 1 x 2 sts from both sides for raglan chamfers, make marked decreases of 16 (17) 18 x 1 st in every 2nd row. In 65 cm = 104 rows from placket, bind off the rest 17 (19) 21 sts for neck-hole.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but in 60 cm = 96 rows from placket, bind off the central 7 (9) 11 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 3 x 1 st in every 2nd row for smooth rounding. Bind off the rest 2 sts at the height of back, as they relate to neck-hole.

Sleeves

Cast on 27 (29) 31 sts with knitting needles 7 and make 5 cm of 1 x 1 rib for placket. Continue work with pattern of slipped sts due to the scheme 2 with knitting needles 9 with straps order. At the same time, increase 5 x 1 st in every 8th row from both sides for sleeve chamfers and 4 x 1 st in every 6th row (9 x 1 st in every 6th row) 9 x 1 st in every 6th row = 45 (47) 49 sts. In 44 cm = 70 rows (42,5 cm = 68 rows) 41,5 cm = 66 rows from placket, make raglan chamfer from both sides in the same way, as for back. In 65 cm = 104 rows from placket, bind off the rest 9 sts.

Assembly

Make raglan seams. For trim, cast on 48 (52) 56 sts along neck-hole with blue-green yarn and work with 1 x 1 rib with circle rows. Bind off all sts when the width of trim is 4 cm. Make side and sleeve seams.
