1st row (RS): knit;

2nd row: 1 purl, 2 knit sts, * 4 purls, 2 knit sts*; repeat from * to *, 1 purl;

3rd-12th rows: repeat the 1st-2nd rows x 5 times;

13th row: knit;

14th row: 4 purls, * 2 knit sts, 4 purls*; repeat from * to *;

15th-24th rows: repeat the 13th-14th rows x 5 times.
