Instructions
Back
Cast on 128 (136) 146 stitches and make 2 cm = 5 rows of rib, starting with 1 WS row. For size M, increase 1 stitch in the last WS row = 128 (137) 146 stitches. Continue work with relief pattern. For shoulder chamfers, at 44.5 cm = 116 rows from lower placket, bind off 1 x 6 stitches from both sides. Then bind off 5 x 6 stitches (4 x 6 stitches and 1 x 9 stitches in every 2nd row), 3 x 6 stitches and 2 x 9 stitches. At 49 cm = 128 rows from lower placket, bind off the remaining 56 (59) 62 stitches, with the central 38 (41) 44 of these stitches forming the neck-hole, and outer 9 stitches from both sides for shoulders.
Left Front
Cast on 68 (70) 74 stitches and make 2 cm = 5 rows of rib for lower placket, starting with 1 WS row. Increase 1 stitch in the last WS row for size M = 68 (71) 74 stitches. Continue work as follows: 1 selvage stitch, 63 (66) 69 stitches of relief pattern, 4 stitches of garter stitch (= placket). Make shoulder chamfer from the right side in the same way as for back. Bind off the remaining 9 stitches of the shoulder at the height of the back. For the back collar, make the remaining 23 stitches according to the pattern, starting with 1 selvage stitch, then continue with relief pattern on 18 stitches, finishing with 4 stitches of garter stitch. At 9.5 cm = 24 rows (10.5 cm = 27 rows) 11.5 cm = 30 rows from the beginning of the collar, bind off all stitches.
Note: Collar isn’t stated on the scheme.
Right Front
Work in symmetry to the left front.
Sleeves
For each sleeve, cast on 74 (80) 86 stitches and make 2 cm = 5 rows of rib for lower placket, starting with 1 WS row. After that, continue work with relief pattern. At 31 cm = 80 rows from lower placket, bind off all stitches.
Assembly
Make shoulder and central collar seams, sew the collar into the back neck-hole. Sew up the sleeves and complete side and sleeve seams.
So nice and tender. I'm thinking to make it
I wish you good luck!
